What is modal fabric and why does it matter for underwear?
Modal is made from beechwood pulp. It's a natural fiber, not synthetic. What that means for you practically: it's softer than cotton, doesn't scratch, doesn't trap heat, and stays breathable even after hours of wear. Most cheap underwear uses polyester or polyester blends. That's why it feels sticky by afternoon. Modal doesn't do that.
Will it get hot and sweaty down there?
Modal is naturally breathable and pulls moisture away from the skin. It doesn't trap heat the way synthetic fabrics do. If you've worn polyester underwear in summer, you know the problem. This isn't that.
Is the fit tight? I don't want compression around the pouch area.

Will the leg hem leave marks or dig into my thighs?
