Care for bamboo
  1. 1.Wash cold, inside out. Less heat, and less rubbing on the face of the fabric.
  2. 2.Wash with similar fabrics. Rubbing pulls loose fiber ends into small balls, called pills.
  3. 3.Lay flat or tumble low. Skip the hot dryer.

Questions

Common questions

What is bamboo viscose?

Bamboo viscose is a regenerated fiber. Bamboo pulp is dissolved and spun into a viscose fiber, so it is processed, not a raw plant fiber. It feels light and breathable. Our Stain-Free Polo is 57% bamboo viscose, 38% cotton and 5% elastane. The Bamboo Crew is 52% cotton, 43% bamboo viscose and 5% elastane.

What does zero polyester mean?

Zero polyester means no July Mode style contains any polyester. Our styles are made from plant fibers such as cotton, modal and bamboo viscose. Where a style needs stretch, we add a small amount of spandex, also called elastane, and list it on the label. The Pima Fleece and the Deccan-Luxe set have no spandex at all.

Why is polyester plastic?

Polyester is a synthetic fiber made from petroleum. Chemically it is a plastic, usually PET, the same material used for plastic drink bottles. It is melted and pushed through tiny holes to make long filaments, which are spun into yarn and knit or woven into fabric. A 100% polyester shirt is a plastic shirt.
