What is Pima cotton?

Pima cotton is an extra-long-staple cotton. Its fibers are 38 to 41 mm long, compared with 25 to 32 mm for regular upland cotton. Longer fibers spin into finer, smoother yarn, so the fabric feels softer. Our Pima cotton is imported from Peru and used in The Pima Fleece, Pima Polo, Pima Henley and Pima Hi-Neck.

What is DCH-32 cotton?

DCH-32 is a long-staple cotton variety grown in India, with fibers 33 to 37 mm long. It is knit into a 420 GSM French terry, smooth outside with soft loops inside, for the Deccan-Luxe Hoodie and Jogger. The set is 100% DCH-32 cotton, with zero polyester and zero spandex.

What does zero polyester mean?

Zero polyester means no July Mode style contains any polyester. Our styles are made from plant fibers such as cotton, modal and bamboo viscose. Where a style needs stretch, we add a small amount of spandex, also called elastane, and list it on the label. The Pima Fleece and the Deccan-Luxe set have no spandex at all.
